The Grumman Widgeon was built in 1943 for the U.S. Navy as a J4F-2. Sold by the War Assets Administration in 1946, it flew until 1954 when it was converted by McKisson to a Super Widgeon with Lycoming GO-435 engines. After flying in Alaska for over 45 years it was restored in 2009 and the engines were upgraded to Lycoming GO-480’s
