We sold this plane about 10 years ago to this current owner. We are now selling it again for him. The 1980 model has some significant features over the 1979. Namely the oil filter is relocated to the back of the engine bay where it can actually cool the oil. The air intakes at the front of the cowling are more aerodynamic. The battery is moved from under the cowl near the exhaust to the rear fuselage behind a panel with the O2 tank. This configuration starts in 1980 and goes to the end of production in 1986. The turbo normalizing of the derated, long lived 540 Lycoming and the 92 gallon wet wing make this a very fast reliable, stable cross country IFR cruiser. Complete logs. No hail.
