The aircraft had a bird strike with that caused a small amount of damage to the prop. As a result, insurance agreed to replace the prop and pay for an IRAN of the engine. A new prop has already been installed and the aircraft has flown 15 hours since. The owner intends to do a major overhaul to “zero time”. That work is scheduled to start soon and will take up to 6 weeks. A $15,000 engine inspection credit can be provided to the buyer in lieu of selling the airplane with a newly overhauled engine.
