It was repaired in 1996 at no expense with the gov't paying the bill after an off airport landing. 2000 to 2005 it was based in Washington and since 2005, it has been in the lower 48 states with a private owner on wheels. Very complete logs. No hail. No corrosion, always hangared. A piece of history because Cessna will never make the 185 again for taildragger liability reasons.
Airtex duraplush maroon velour seats. Matching dark red carpets and side panels. Cream headliner. All in very good condition throughout. Rated 8 out of 10.
Overall bright white with classic "last of the model" traditional original 1985 185 scheme with Burgundy and red accents in very good condition. Invasion stripes on wings and detail on the wingtips to match. Excellent glass all round. Rated 9 out of 10.
