I’m selling my AutoGyro MTO Sport gyroplane located at TA37 Vaca Moo Airport in Ben Wheeler, Texas! It has only 68 hours and I’ll teach you to fly it or I’ll pay another CFI closer to you to train you in it. Who does that? Me.
It all boils down to when you want to fly. You can order a new kit and wait a few months ( or 6 or 7 months) to have it delivered then a few more months to build it then yet even more months to fly the 40 hours ALONE before you can take passengers OR for around $20,000 to $30,000 to $40,000 less than a new gyro you can buy and fly this one with only 68 hours total time right now, still practically brand new !
It has the CFI package in the rear seat section, a Garmin Aera 560 (or I’ll swap it out for a GPSMAP 396 if you prefer that), upgraded DUC Hélices Flash-2 and also a spare AutoGyro propeller, upgraded seat cushions, 12v outlet on panel, Strobe lights and Nav lights for night flying, ELT, Trig Mode S transponder and TRIG Comm Radio with intercom, Digital Flight Data System FC-10 (fuel computer), 3 helmets, all logbooks, wheel pants protectors/inspection steps, AutoGyro and Rotax Maintenance Manuals, and other misc things.
If you’re a CFI I’ll even give you my FAA LODA with all the paperwork I used to get mine so you can be assured you’ll get it. What other CFI is doing that? Just me, I don’t mind the competition. The more the merrier plus the sport will grow = lower insurance and other costs.
I bought it last year when I lost my medical and reluctantly had to sell my Cessna 172 that I spent 2 ½ years restoring, because you can fly the gyro with a driver’s license as a LSA under Sport Pilot regulations. The FAA has since reconsidered the medicine I’m taking so I have a regular medical again and with the new RV-8 in my hangar I don’t have time to fly the gyro.
Asking $64,900 or best offer. I’ll also trade it for almost anything of value plus cash so make an offer !
