I am a 30 year veteran flight instructor and corporate pilot. Over the years the silent war on American aviator has taken its toll on our airports, FBO’s, pilots, and mechanics. Truly, there is no one I can see that is defending aviation. In 2019 one of my former students lost his life in a horrific accident in Hawaii. All the evidence reflected he lost the left engine on take off, and the aircraft immediately flipped inverted and went into the ground. This is his story.
